HAVE A GOOD TIME (2006) - (demo album) melodic rock / glam rock
"HAVE A GOOD TIME" (2006) is my first album, the debut of Dannie Damien, It's melodic rock made in Italy but the sound is really “American way” of the 80's and 90's.
Inside you'll find 14 songs full of catchy refrains, melodic guitar solos, suffered ballads you know... it's rock 'n' roll, with a lot of glam and power pop influences that you can find from the first to the last track.
Well I love this cd 'cause it's my first experiment, the eldest, but in truth I think there's some defects in it.
In this cd I got two guests and surely two friends singing two songs for me and they are the fabulous singers Rachel O'Neill (rocker until death) and Ciccio Ronchi
A COWBOY NO ONE GETS (2008) melodic rock / glam rock
"A COWBOY NO ONE GETS” (2008) Well first of all I can say the production is better than the first album where the entire work was penalized by a "hollow" sound, and my way to sing was unripe.
This one's "a step ahead" in many points of view, altough the style remains the same I guess the songwriting is becomed mature while the rock remains "straight to the point" and, the glam influences give ways to AOR ascendancy. This second cd has reviewed with high consideration by the fanzines and webzines, (even HAVE A GOOD TIME had very good reviews though).
Singers guests on this cd: Mauro Simone (the great), Ciccio Ronchi (I got no words for your availability, humility and power), Lady Rhuna, Matteo Giraldi.
THE BOXER AND THE BOOZER (2009) meldic rock / AOR
"THE BOXER AND THE BOOZER” (2009) This cd was preceded by 2 videoclip, availables on youtube. I like to call this one the cd of the maturation, the proof ! The lyrics changes from song to song but in many songs the principal theme is the introspective war of a man, that is a boxer (sacrifice,devotion,pain) and at the same time he’ s a boozer (vice,addiction,weakness) and both meet with no escape in these words: victory, defeated, fragility, loneliness… heart. We can say this is a sort of Concept album.
The music remains melodic rock and the guitar is the main character of the product, in coalition with the keyboards and with a lot of melodic refrain and solos. This time too Dannie surrounds himself with great singers: Ciccio Ronchi (you are the best), and Angelo Casagrande, Fabio Simonato (both super magnificent)

"SOLITARY SOULS PUB" (2011) The fourth full-lenght by Dannie Damien comes in late 2011 and the begin of 2012 and it has been well good reviewed in many fanzines and webzines in italy and aroud the world. Another time it's a cd full of the standards well worked by the artist, so we can find everything the melodic rock and AOR in American way needs to exists, plus some excursion in different style of solutions and composing. This time there's no guests on the microphone and everything, as the first album, is sung by Dannie Damien.
If you like Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Extreme, Bryan Adams, Mikael Erlandsson, Bad English, Boston, Def Leppard, Gotthard and such... this is the cd you gotta have.

"NOT IN MY COUNTRY" (2013) Comes from the union born between the melodies of melodic rock and the country music, the latter was powerful source of inspiration and great revelation in recent period to Dannie. This meeting gives birth to sweet acoustic ballads that winks at the folk music, and smiling country songs for a record that sounds like a real challenge. Last record in order of time, branded Dannie Damien, after the country parenthesis followed by a further brackets of classical music, "Body & Soul chapter 1" is a sort of return to the origins, but this time in acoustic, so this time too make room for the news ! Carlo di Toma, Angelo Casagrande, Francesco Cavalieri, Leo Episcopo, and other guests are in the game, for an album all made by acoustic and classical guitars, with 3 new interpretations of old songs written by Dannie in a more intimate and startling key , and 7 brand new, unreleased, all strictly unplugged tracks, some of them with the intense lyrics written by Monica Catalano. For an unique and surrounding sound, what I like to call, a deep wood sound.

Second part of the acoustic chapter and return to the origins, Guitar guest the very well prepared Carlo di Toma and Gerardo Tango as singer on one song and every now and then in some choirs. Nothing more to say, the album, as previous, is all made by acoustic and classical guitars, 3 new interpretations of old songs written by Dannie in a more intimate key , and 7 brand new tracks, two of them with the intense lyrics of Monica Catalano.
